The Firm serves as an extension of the client’s management team, working to prevent problems and providing careful, efficient guidance on legal issues, at a rate much lower than national firms and without the obligations of hiring a full-time in-house staff attorney.
• Provide accessible guidance and leadership on business solutions and strategies including core business functions such as employment, corporate governance, contract negotiations and content rights management from an experienced in-house counsel perspective.
• Assist with contract reviews, including nondisclosure agreements, leasing, commercial contracts, and licensing.
• Assist with employment matters, including negotiating and drafting executive employment agreements, leading internal investigations, ensuring compliance with the company’s business conduct policies and state and federal labor laws, and analyzing and making recommendations regarding employee termination/reduction-in-force actions.
• Assist with important due diligence in business transactions.
• Serve as an extension of the client's sales team, assisting with contract negotiations, review and drafting.
• Engage, supervise and manage other outside counsel.
Generally, for clients with no pre-arranged time commitment seeking general legal counsel on an on-demand basis, the Firm charges an hourly rate that is substantially less than the rate charged even by smaller law firms.
We also may charge flat fees or other alternative fee arrangements where appropriate, allowing you to budget and plan appropriately. For clients who wish to have the Firm act as the de facto General Counsel with the Firm dedicating a pre-arranged time commitment to the client, we often agree on a negotiated monthly retainer.
